ESR Capacitor Tester MESR-100: Professional Ohm Meter for Measuring Internal Resistance of Capacitors

Utilizing a series resistor within the capacitor, we are able to eliminate the impedance 1/(2piF*C) at 100kHz. This results in a reduction of impedance, allowing for the accurate measurement of the true series resistor value. By applying this principle, we can determine whether the capacitor is in good condition or has been damaged. Our ESR meter applies a minimal voltage of less than 15mV DC or peak to peak on a functioning capacitor, making it suitable for in-circuit testing. This feature proves to be particularly useful during the repair of TVs, LCDs, audio boards, and other electronic devices, allowing for quick and efficient testing of the capacitor's performance.

The capacitive meter is equipped with dual terminals, enabling the swift and easy inspection of the internal resistance of the capacitor.
